Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Support ESG-related discussions with clients while communicating with Relationship Managers (RMs) of Japanese and Korean companies in APAC, RMs at headquarters in Japan and Korea, and other ESG business related departments to enable SMBC to find business opportunities.
- Develop a system to enable RMs of Japanese and Korean companies in APAC region to have ESG-related discussions with clients through workshops and the preparation of general materials, and plan how to promote such discussions.
- Update various ESG-related information through continuous communication within the member of Sustainability Solutions Group in APAC and Sustainability related departments in Japan.
- Seek ESG solutions and plan new ESG products to offer to Japanese and Korean clients in the APAC region.
- Enhance the collaboration between Japanese and Non-Japanese clients
- Take charge of administering, managing, and improving overall administrative affairs in the office.
- Strive to develop better relationship in the office, stimulate morale
- Develop and implement plans for education and training for subordinates, and provide guidance on and supervise performance of duties thereof
Job Requirements
Education Qualifications
- Graduate degree from university
- Strong written & verbal communication skills in English
Experience
- Minimum 10 years Banking & Finance experience.
- Around 2 years or more of ESG related business experience.
- Leading and managing a small team.
- Engaged in Corporate Banking.
