Job description
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Data Collection and Analysis: Gather, organize, and analyze sustainability-related data (e.g., carbon emissions, energy consumption, waste management) from over 3,500 companies.
- ESG Frameworks and Regulations: Develop or enhance modules aligned with frameworks and regulations such as SFDR, ISSB, CSRD, PCAF, and GHG Protocol.
- Carbon Reporting: Assist in developing carbon reports, including scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions based on global frameworks and regulations.
- Market Trends: Research sustainability trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies related to carbon and environmental topics (e.g., biodiversity, pollution, circular economy).
- Real Estate: Research green building certifications, waste reduction programs, or energy efficiency upgrades, including cost calculations for implementing these initiatives across various industries and locations.
- Supply Chain: Assist in researching supply chain sustainability initiatives.
Ideal Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Over three years of experience in sustainability or ESG roles.
- MBA or master's degree in a related area preferred.
- Experience with carbon reporting, sustainability frameworks, and regulations is highly desirable.
