Sustainability Internship - Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)

We are seeking a talented, motivated and passionate environmental sustainability individual to join our Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) team.

You will support our Sustainability Consulting Team in the implementation of industrial and research sustainability projects in the areas of energy & mobility, including hydrogen and other alternative fuels and propulsion systems, sustainable materials, and sustainable manufacturing processes. This internship is hybrid; the individual will need to come into the Chicago office at least once a week.

This internship is for students in their final year of undergrad or master's program, in Sustainability and Environmental degrees, with a graduation date that falls in May through Aug of 2025.

What You'll Need:

• Preferably studying for a master's degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering, energy technology or a comparable course of study.
• Good understanding of figures, interest in market and internet research
• Pro-active and self-motivated
• Independent and reliable working behavior
• Familiar with the use of MS Office

What You'll Do:

• Data research und data treatment
• Carrying out Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) with Sphera's LCA FE software
• Support feasibility studies and market analyses
• Prepare presentations
