Job description
Mission
The successful candidate will be part of the Sustainability metrics and strategy consulting team, within the Sustainability Management Consulting Division in RINA. She/he will be focused on supporting various industrial clients in improving the ESG performance of their business and achieving their sustainability goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Sustainability strategy consulting: developing and implementing comprehensive sustainability strategies that align with corporate goals and regulatory requirements. Identify opportunities for improving environmental, social, and economic impacts within the client's operations.
- Life cycle assessment: conducting and interpreting LCA studies for various products and processes, using different methodologies and software tools, following the ISO 14040-44 standards.
- Carbon footprint: measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, applying relevant standards and frameworks.
- Carbon neutrality: assist businesses in finding strategies to achieve carbon neutrality, following ISO 14068 guidelines.
- Eco-design: applying principles and strategies of eco-design to optimize the environmental performance of products and services, considering the whole life cycle.
- Environmental product declarations: preparing EPDs for different product categories, following the ISO 14025.
Education
Master's Degree or Doctorate/PHD in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering
