The Opportunity

As a team member of Roche Hungary Compliance and SHE department, the SHE, Compliance & Sustainability Specialist is responsible for ensuring high standards of Safety, Security, Health and Environment, implementing and enforcing record management strategies, supporting sustainability reporting and compliance.

Safety, Security, Health, Environment (for Pharma & Diagnostic divisions)

  • Holding SHE Officer and Site Security Officer positions, maintenance/updating of local policies, ensuring global reporting, conducting regular risk assessments, creation of respective purchase orders, ensuring alignment with global/regional directives
  • The responsibilities are related to the following areas: security, health, safety, environment and business continuity

Sustainability (for Pharma & Diagnostic divisions)

  • Acting as a local focal point for Roche's global ESG (Environment, Sustainability, Governance) network
  • Implementing global sustainability guidance and ensuring its alignment with local laws and industry best practices and collecting and providing key figures for NFRD/CSRD reporting

Record management (for Pharma division)

  • Developing local record management strategy and ensuring its alignment with global directives and industry best practices and continuously maintaining record retention schedule
  • Advising on applicable document retention periods and tools and regularly communicating about record management requirements and supporting colleagues with handling physical documents

Compliance (for Pharma divisions)

  • Conducting internal compliance monitoring and reporting the results regularly and supporting processes related to EFPIA transparency disclosure
  • Administration of compliance trainings and implementing global internal policies and regularly updating local policies

Who you are

  • We are seeking an individual with University degree, preferred in law, economics or business administration and with 2-3+ years post-qualification experience in any area of environment/safety, sustainability, compliance or record management and fluent in Hungarian and English
  • Excellent negotiation skills with strong work-ethic, accountability, pro-active/self-driven approach
  • Attention to detail, precise approach, inner intention to deliver on time and with high quality and excellent customer orientation and service mindset
  • Ability to work with proactivity, accountability and flexibility, to demonstrate teamwork attitude and to multitask, prioritize
  • Demonstrating agile skills and flexibility, easy adaptation to changes
