Regional Vice President - Mid-Atlantic Territory (BVTA)
Job Description
The Regional Vice President of Sales will oversee daily sales activity, meet with major clients, draw up sales reports, designs new and more effective sales strategies, and works to market and promote company products and services. They will achieve sales objectives by establishing a strategy within assigned accounts and assigned markets, implementing the plan and establishing deep, long-term relationships within client organization.
This sales role will focus on the due diligence assessments within the Commercial/Transactional market in the Mid-Atlantic Territory (PA, MD, DC, VA, DE, WVA), supporting our team's experience includes working with Lenders, Buyers, and Sellers of Commercial real estate. Whether it's assessments completed for purposes of Financing, Acquisition, or disposition; the RVP of Sales will continue to grow this expanding Mid-Atlantic territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Experience transactional/commercial services for clients in the Mid-Atlantic territory in the commercial real estate sector. This position will be focused on expanding our presence regionally through sales targeting, prospecting, proposing and closing new business.
- Travel by Plane, Motor Vehicle, Train (25% to 50% of workweek) to client sites in the Mid-Atlantic territory.
- Establishes objectives within the market by identifying key organizations and researching and analyzing these organizations; understands current and future market trends for key organizations.
- One of the key position objectives is to identify and qualify potential clients that fit BV's ideal client profile with the goal of setting up client meetings to propose engagements with BV.
- Follow up and close leads established in conjunction with the Executive Vice President of Sales.
- Establishes objectives by forecasting and developing sales plan for assigned territories and projecting expected sales volume.
- Develops relationships with targeted clients by facilitating introductions, building rapport through additional contact, arranging /attending business events, and participating in industry functions.
- Establishes market by identifying, penetrating and developing long term relationships with key organizations or agencies managing asset portfolio. This position involved sales targeting, prospecting, proposing, upselling, and closing new business.
- Services targeted clients by conducting sales calls to establish an understanding of the account's business strategies and organizational structure, as well as to position BV's capabilities.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, market trends, etc.
Supervisory Responsibilities
May indirectly or directly supervise employees within the team. May be asked to carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities could include training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in related field; minimum of 2 β 5 years of related experience.
- In lieu of degree, 5 β 8 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrate an ability to sell business to business services.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid driver's license required with no significant motor vehicle record (MVR) points/violations (clean driving record).
- Personal credit sufficient to charge business travel expenses of up to $3,000 required.

The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the home or company office environment is usually quiet.
