Pre-Sales / Solution Architect (m/f/d) with ESG Expertise

Location: Munich or remote in Germany Job status: Fulltime

We are looking for a fulltime Pre-Sales / Solution Architect (m/f/d) with ESG Expertise who has the right blend of skill, professionalism and tenacity. Your technical expertise, your expertise in ESG combined with your ability to win pitches and work collaboratively are paramount. The role is key in translating customer requirements into technical proposals and eventually solutions by leveraging the Tagetik software applications.

The successful candidate will be able to:

  • Understand and map ESG requirements to the Tagetik prepackaged ESG solution
  • Position our unique value proposition and engage with our prospects and customers all the way
  • Learn fast and be motivated to improve processes in the Office of Finance
  • Travel within the DACH Region

Job Description: The activities of the Pre-Sales / Solution Architect (m/f/d) with ESG Expertise comprise the following tasks:

  • Providing technical guidance to clients, interested parties and partners in the use of the Tagetik software solution
  • Deep understanding of ESG and technical support in the sales process
  • Partner with Account Manager and partners on successful acquisition of projects
  • Responsibility for tender documents, conducting product demonstrations, creating prototypes and presentations
  • Conducting client presentations and workshops, and outlining solutions for implementing client requirements
  • Support at events (internal and external), creation of specialist articles or publications, and lecturing activities
  • Ongoing further training regarding new or modified reporting standards in the office of the CFO or regulations in ESG
  • Learning new functions of the software arising from new program versions, modules or technological changes
  • Quick understanding of processes from potential customers to transform requirements into solutions

Job Requirements:

  • (Post-) graduate degree in business administration, commercial informatics, informatics or comparable qualification
  • Professional experience as consultant or controller/accountant, experience in sustainability is a plus
  • Combination of sustainability and finance knowledge and technical competence
  • First experience in Presales of Corporate Performance Management (CPM) preferred
  • Confident presentation skills at management level
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Enjoying work with customers and interested in ESG
  • Excellent English skills (verbal and in writing). German speaking is a must
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
