Job description

Daily responsibilities in our team:

  • Provide legal assistance for bank units in connection with financial transactions in an international environment (including multi-jurisdictional bilateral, syndicated, club deal financing, etc.) and other corporate banking issues
  • Deepen your knowledge of banking market regulations, including activities in foreign markets
  • Develop in the area of legal regulations related to ESG, new technologies, and their application in banking activities
  • Participate in creating products and their documentation, reviewing internal regulations, and generally applicable legal acts in the field of banking market law
  • Participate in preparing regulatory applications to relevant national or foreign supervisory authorities and in proceedings related to these applications

Requirements:

  • Several years of experience as a legal counsel or attorney
  • Several years of work experience in a large financial institution or law firm, dealing with corporate banking issues
  • Participation in transactions involving foreign entities
  • Ability to work with LMA standard documentation
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), including legal and banking-financial terminology, and ability to work independently with contractual documentation in this language (knowledge of other foreign languages will be an additional advantage)
  • Proficiency in IT tools typically used in legal work
  • Good communication skills and ability to understand business needs, as well as perceive a broader business and legal-regulatory context of tasks
  • Reliability and responsibility, independently striving to successfully complete assigned tasks
  • Ability and willingness to work in a team
  • Enjoyment in taking new initiatives and challenges
  • Desire to work on the most interesting and largest regulatory projects and transactions in the market
