Job description

About Carbonfact

Carbonfact is the only Carbon Management Platform dedicated to the textile and fashion industry. Our platform automates life-cycle assessment at the product level, enabling brands to gain a high resolution of their Scope 3 emissions and model out product-level change on the company's broader environmental trajectory.

Brands and fashion groups from all over the world are already using Carbonfact (e.g. New Balance, Carhartt, Allbirds, APC, Armedangels, Happy Socks, etc.). We announced in May 2024 a 15 million Series A from Alven, Headline, and Y Combinator.

What you should be excited about

  • Working on climate: Help decarbonize the fashion industry and avoid hundreds of millions of tons of GHG every year.
  • The team: Join a strong, small team with experiences from successful companies like Airbnb and Alan.
  • Design challenges: Solve complex LCA problems with intuitive and elegant solutions.
  • Company culture: Hybrid work environment, asynchronous communication, and regular team retreats.

Your role

As Head of Product Design, you will:

  • Lead design efforts, working closely with the Co-founder & CPO, Head of Marketing & Product Marketing, and engineering team.
  • Conduct user research and consolidate customer needs.
  • Shape solutions through low-fidelity sketches and get feedback from other teams.
  • Design elegant flows in Figma and maintain a high bar for quality.
  • Build with engineers to implement solutions for customers.

What we are looking for

  • At least 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in a B2B company.
  • Impressive portfolio showcasing design skills.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
  • Located in Paris.

Work environment and compensation

  • Salary between €60k and €80k depending on levels.
  • Significant equity with employee-friendly exercise rights.
  • 100% health insurance coverage with Alan.
