Job description

We are looking for an experienced and qualified software development engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to improving patient monitoring through innovative software solutions. You will play a crucial role in the measurement software department, focusing on developing software for measuring vital parameters in patient monitoring devices and prenatal monitoring systems.

Your role:

  • Contribute to the development of state-of-the-art software solutions for measuring vital parameters to improve patient care in healthcare facilities.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including measurement hardware development, algorithm development, and product marketing, to ensure successful implementation of software solutions.
  • Participate in the entire software development cycle, from conception to verification, to ensure high-quality software for medical applications.
  • Analyze and resolve software issues, both during development and in response to customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate in a Scrum team using agile methods in software development.
  • Utilize opportunities for personal and professional development.
  • Leverage hybrid work opportunities with other national and international teams.

You are the right choice if:

  • You have in-depth knowledge of embedded software development.
  • You possess strong experience in C++, possibly also experience in Python; basic knowledge of working with the Linux operating system is an advantage.
  • You have at least 6 years of experience in software development.
  • You have a degree in electrical engineering, computer science, medical technology, or a related field with a focus on software development.
  • Teamwork, adaptability, and commitment to excellence are integral to your work ethic.
  • You have a good understanding of current software development techniques, especially in embedded systems and real-time applications.
  • Basic knowledge of digital signal processing, Linux, or experience with MATLAB and LabVIEW is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of medical technology and human physiology is a plus.
  • You are resident in Germany.
