Job description
DevOps Engineer
STACS is a rapidly growing fintech company seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to join our expanding engineering team and contribute to the next generation of cloud-based financial technology platforms.
The ideal candidate should be highly interested in DevOps, possess expertise in multiple technologies, have a strong understanding of Docker (Kubernetes is a plus), and coding ability (Python and Shell preferred). They should ensure smooth cloud deployment and be interested in automated operations (CI/CD) solutions.
Candidates must be able to work independently in an agile and fast-paced project environment, think critically, and maintain good communication with colleagues until assigned tasks are completed, and even provide additional contributions to projects.
You will be a key contributor to changing how capital markets operate today. If you successfully join the STACS team, you will work with the team to build the best platforms and products for our clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage technical operations of company products to ensure overall high performance and availability.
- Follow up on product services from onboarding to deployment and be responsible for automated operations and CI/CD solutions.
- Develop operational tools, integrate platform interfaces, and participate in platform tool scripting.
- Resolve technical issues encountered during operations, proactively identify operational risks, and optimize business processes.
- Enhance operational efficiency and service quality through technical skills and development capabilities.
- Improve automation version control processes.
- Design automated deployment processes.
- Set up and manage log and configuration tools.
- Consider cost expenditures and security during process design.
- Focus on DevOps core principles, establish good cross-team collaboration, and build trust through effective communication.
- Assist relevant departments in handling incidents and improving processes as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in operations and maintenance and virtualization technology (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Expertise in setting up and implementing CI/CD platforms (e.g., Terraform, CodePipeline, Jenkins).
- Experience with Configuration Management Tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Knowledge of log management (e.g., Prometheus, ELK).
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with systems like Tomcat, Weblogic, including Java applications.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Experience in KM document management and technical document production (e.g., Confluence).
- Basic operations and knowledge of Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Basic cybersecurity and network security technical experience.
- Understanding of network protocols and network domain know-how (Sockets, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, Load Balancer, Network Subnet, etc.).
- Cloud DevOps Certifications on AWS, GCP, Azure (AWS preferred).
