Join us as a Data Science Intern (Sustainability) to make an impact!
You will join the Sustainability Business team, part of Energy Management in East Asia and Japan, who enable Schneider Electric customers to decarbonize their operations and achieve their sustainability commitments.
Location: Kallang
Mission (About the Role)
- You will help the Sustainability Business to evolve its data processing capabilities and transform how we utilize data to meet our customer needs.
- This role will articulate and explore the possibilities for improvement: to find ways to improve the efficiency and accuracy of business decisions.
What will you do?
- Developing tools and methods for (1) collecting data and (2) analyzing data sources
- Data collection, analysis and interpretation: collecting data from a variety of sources, analyzing and interpreting it to extract useful information.
- Explore, sort and analyze megadata from various sources in order to take advantage of them and reach conclusions to optimize business processes or for decision support.
- Creating graphic representations of data and translating complex research into easily readable content for stakeholders and other departments
- Work with our Global teams to deploy and integrate AI technology throughout business processes
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Education: Bachelor's in Data Analytics/Mathematics/Economics/Computer Engineering/IT related or similar
- Skills/Systems Knowledge:
- Passion for data analysis and its best practices
- Solid understanding of different data collection and analysis techniques
- Aptitude with various modelling tools and platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them: Must have Tableau/Power BI; Good to have Java/Python/SQL
- Knowledge of AI strategies, including continuing development of new modelling methods and tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly learn and process information
- Ability to translate complex research into common language
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Organization and time management skills
- Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
