We offer: A full-time qualifying professional contract for 12 months, including 15% internal training (professional, linguistic, tools, etc.). These training courses are provided internally by organizations selected by TotalEnergies.

Activities: The apprentice will familiarize themselves with the operation of the gas power plant and the capture unit. They will then carry out an economic evaluation of the "Gas power plant and capture unit" system, taking into account the price of natural gas, electricity, and CO2 through the ETS (Emissions Trading System). These calculations will help determine how to optimize the operation of both units between electricity production, financial profitability of the gas power plant, and CO2 emissions. Finally, these calculations can be extended to prospective scenarios of energy costs and intermittency of gas power plants.

Context & Environment: The R&D Line CO2 & Sustainability is closely aligned with the Company's climate and sustainable development strategy. Beyond reducing greenhouse gas emissions, we must integrate the entire societal dimension into our programs: Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage / Carbon Dioxide Utilization / Hydrogen / Low Carbon LNG / Sustainability. CO2 Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) solutions are essential in the fight against global warming. Our teams are at the forefront of accelerating the development of innovative and economical capture technologies.
