EY GDS Business Consulting – Business Transformation & innovation - (BT&I Consulting Staff for the ESG service)

As part of our Business Consulting team, you will help EY clients on their ESG and sustainability related projects with strong consulting and technical skills to provide consulting services. Working with regional and global team, you will help clients by demonstrating business and technology expertise across end-to-end ESG transformation, strategy design, implementation of sustainability programs.

The opportunity

We're looking for a Staff with expertise in ESG and Sustainability domain to support EY clients in their ESG Strategy and roadmap development, ESG risk and materiality assessment, Sustainability program implementations, ESG financial valuations, ESG reporting, compliance and value measurement.

Your key responsibilities

• Part a dynamic team of professionals undertaking ESG strategy and transformation consulting projects for our Consulting Practice clients
• Responsible to participate in proposal development and support in proposal presentation from GDS to EY clients on strategic opportunities
• On large ESG/Sustainability Transformation and strategy projects support the Consulting Practice by taking up the role of workstream leaders/engagement managers

Key experience required

Good knowledge on the ESG/Sustainability and extensive experience in the following venues or areas:

• ESG Strategy
• ESG Roadmap
• Risk and materiality assessment
• ESG assessment framework and Due Diligence
• Sustainability program implementation
• Decarbonization
• ESG link to financial performance
• ESG reporting, compliance and value measurement

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong understanding and minimum 1 year of client facing consulting experience in ESG/Sustainability strategy development, transformation/ implementation, ESG valuation and reporting.
• Strong consulting and technical skills to provide consulting services is what we are ideally looking for
• Good to have experience in ESG/Sustainability related digital tools and systems
• Good Research skills, report writing and communication skills and exposure to various research tools will be a necessary expectation of this role
• Ability to plan and run workshops involving Client executives on large Transformation projects
• Experience in project managing transformation engagements and initiatives
• Ability to benchmark client requirements against leading practices and identify client pain points and opportunities.
• Be creative, go-getter and take on any challenge to drive impact and results for our clients/ engagement stakeholders
• Good managerial and leadership skills to enhance the relationship with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BE/B-Tech/MBA/ or specific degree in ESG/Sustainability
• 1 year of experience in ESG/sustainability projects
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills
• Experience in usage of analytical tools/ representations

Ideally, you'll also have

• Project management skills
• Report writing, Customer handling, Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience in usage of analytical tools/ representations
• Right attitude to understand and align organizational goals and priorities and assist in implementation of strategic initiatives
• Willing to work on Sunday to Thursday working week and support MENA timings (11AM – 8.30 PM), as preferred (supporting Middle East Clients)
